Espresso or caffe espresso facts

It is a “modern” way of enjoying a cup of coffee. This nice beverage was created in Milan, Italy at the beginning of 20th century. It consists of some coffee brewed by forcing hot water under pressure through the ground beans (it must be a fine powder). It was in 1940 that the spring piston lever machine was invented and the espresso became the coffee we enjoy at present. Espresso machines take beans and transform them into the most delicious cup of coffee. The most well-known espresso machines are Saeco (Italy) and Jura (Switzerland).

This coffee variety is prepared using brewed coffee beans. They have passed through different process to be dehydrated in order to get powder or granules from them. After that, when somebody wants to use it for preparing a cup of coffee, it is necessary only some hot water to rehydrate it. It can be ready in a few minutes. The advantage to use instant coffee is that it is easy and fast to prepare. The disadvantage is that the amount of caffeine is smaller and it makes instant coffee not to have as good flavor as other coffees. In spite of that, it is very popular for its price and availability.

Decaffeinated Coffee Facts
